Location Portraits

In your office or workplace

We are frequently asked for corporate portrait photo shoots on location in the office, work place or other London locations.

We can bring along full onsite studio facilities in order to photograph your staff. In vogue at the moment, are environmental portraits showing clients in their work place, rather than on a studio background.

Styles may vary, from a casual, rolled up sleeve look, to more formal, smart, dark suit look.

Location shoots are charged at £350 for the first two hours and £90 an hour thereafter.

Generally, you will want to come across looking, relaxed, friendly and like some one you can trust.

It helps to be comfortable in the clothes you are wearing and with your poses. Do some research beforehand and practice a few poses in the mirror, or get a loved one to take some photos and include full length, half length and head & shoulders.

To Smile or not to Smile?

Although not suited to everyone, an engaging smile is essential is one of the most important considerations in business portrait posing.

We normally advise to try smiling with both open and closed mouth. Don't worry too much about your teeth, we can give these a digital cosmetic cleanup if neccessary.

If you are on a strict budget you are welcome to apply your own makeup at our studios.

Top tips are to apply your makeup 30% heavier than normal. This will avoid a washed out look under professional studio lights. Another top tip is to use matte formulated makeup. This will avoid excessive shine in the final results.

For absolutely stunning results, use our professional makeup artist.

What to Wear

Casual v Formal

Rolled up sleeves, open neck shirt, sitting at a busy desk conveys a go-getting work ethic. Smart dark suit with shirt and tie conveys authority and professionalism. There is no reason not to try both these styles during the shoot.

Cost Effective Planning

A well planned corporate shoot can be extremely cost effective. It will give you a variety of pictures that can be used for a range of purposes.

When photographing a number of individuals within a company, consideration should be given to consistency of style and clothing across the batch.

High contrast combinations, such as a dark jacket, white shirt and bold tie, scarf or accessories work well. Pastels and busy patterns are best avoided and clothing should be freshly ironed.

Hair Styling

Women - freshly styled hair looks great, but don't try anything experimental - you might live to regret it. For men a recent haircut, and freshly shaven is also a good idea.

We can provide optional professional hair styling for those that need it.
